「把手放下」是什麼意思？其實 hands down 這句話源自於賽馬，騎馬師知道自己已經遙遙領先對手，必勝無疑，就放鬆韁繩垂下雙手，輕鬆跑完最後一段路。後來這句話就用來表示「毫無疑問、無疑的」意思，也可以表示「輕易地、不費力地」，使用的時候一定是複數hands。

E.g., I think the black dress looks better than the white one, hands down.
我覺得黑裙子毫無疑問比白裙子好看。
E.g., Since he was the most experienced speaker, he won the speech contest hands down.
他是最有經驗的講者，因此輕易地就贏了演講比賽。

如果是 hand down，則是「傳下去」的意思。
E.g., A good tradition should be handed down from generation to generation.
良好的傳統值得代代相傳。

Q-tip 其實就是棉花棒 (cotton swab)，棉花棒是在1920年代由一個叫做 Leo Gerstenzang 的人發明的，原本他將這項產品命名為 Baby Gays（不知道為什麼...）Q-tip 則是棉花棒品牌名，"Q" 指的是 quality。由於是銷售最廣的牌子，因此這個字在美國就成了棉花棒的代稱。

我們知道 season 這個字通常是指季節，但不過這個字其實也可以當動詞使用，意思是「調味」，影片裡的 seasoning 指的則是「調味料」。

另外還有一個字是 dressing，這個字當名詞指的是「佐料、醬料」，通常是搭配沙拉的那種醬料。
